UGIG Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use UGIG. Unaccompanied minors are not permitted to ride.

Service Overview
UGIG connects riders with nearby drivers using real-time GPS and matching systems.

Payments & Fares
- All fares are listed in Bahamian Dollars (BSD).
- Payments are cashless and processed securely.
- UGIG reserves the right to adjust pricing due to time, location, or demand.

Cancellations & Refunds
- Riders can cancel before pickup, but a late cancellation fee may apply.
- Refunds will only be provided if UGIG fails to fulfill a confirmed ride.

Code of Conduct
- No harassment, unsafe behavior, or discrimination
- All users must respect others and UGIG property
- Smoking, drug use, or violence during rides is prohibited

Limitation of Liability
UGIG is not liable for disputes between users or lost property. We provide mediation and support where necessary.

Policy Updates
We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance of changes.

Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

Driver Terms & Conditions

As a UGIG driver, you agree to the following:

Eligibility
- Must be 21+ with a valid Bahamian Driver’s License
- Vehicle must pass inspection and meet UGIG standards
- Must have a clean police record and complete onboarding

Earnings & Payouts
- Drivers receive weekly payouts via preferred method
- Incentives and bonuses apply based on performance and peak-hour availability

Conduct & Responsibility
- Professionalism and courtesy are expected at all times
- Drivers must not discriminate, harass, or engage in unsafe behavior
- Alcohol, drug use, or inappropriate conduct will lead to suspension

Ride Acceptance & Cancellations
- Consistent ride cancellations may impact driver ratings or account status
- All accepted rides must be fulfilled unless there is a valid emergency

Data Use & GPS Tracking
Drivers agree to be GPS-tracked during rides for safety and accountability.

Account Termination
UGIG reserves the right to suspend or terminate a driver’s access if they violate company policies or receive repeated low ratings.
